Lake Hayes is another great scenic cruise, located on the way out to Arrowtown, where you can throw the bikes on the rack, stop off for a ride around the lake with views of coronet peak, often so calm its mirrored. It also has a rope swing half way around if you fancy a swing into the lake. Walnut cottage is located just up the road, a local’s favorite to get a coffee or lunch after your ride, Amisfeild winery is also just around the corner so this ride is a great excuse to indulge.
