A line not to be taken lightly, the scene of many a riders undoing… Grundy can be accessed from the original lines diverging in Vertigo after the big Step down (you will know it when you ride it), or from a short walk up the track rider’s left of the halfway clearing. Grundy starts with a bang, plunging riders over a three-meter super steep roller, followed by some nice corners through the trees. Then it gets ugly, rolling through what seems to be a perpetual slimey bog with slippery roots and rocks, emerging at the crux of the line, another super steep roll over, longer this time, with a small zone to g out before diving on through a narrow way between the trees. From here the track then crosses the road and plunges on! Here you can choose to ride Grundy, to the left or Squiggler to the right. If you stay left get ready for some steep rock drops and some exposed and rough traversing before you finish popping out onto Original, did I mention the steepness of the angle? Fun stuff, stay out if you are not confident.
