Keeping you COVID safe

In our ongoing commitment to protecting your Health and Safety, we have introduced measures across the venue to safeguard the wellbeing of our staff, clients, accommodation guests, contractors, and team members.

What we ask of you when you check-in

All persons over the age of 12 years accessing Pinewood Lodge will need to be vaccinated and must have their CVC (Covid Vaccine Certificate) sighted and verified at reception, point of entry.

If you cannot provide your CVC, paper version certificate or a medical exemption, please respect our right to deny access.

Should you arrive after hours, please send us a copy of your Vaccine Pass prior to your arrival.

Pinewood Lodge ‘My Vaccine Pass’

Pinewood Lodge accommodation now operates under the COVID-19 Protection Framework. Pinewood Lodge will adopt the recommended Government advice of operating under My Vaccine Pass.

We do not take this decision lightly but believe this is the right thing to do for the safety of our staff, our guests, and our contractors as our operational environment is made up of shared spaces in an indoor environment. Therefore, due to the potential close proximity between guests and staff, we believe this decision supports our safety measures for everyone.

We will be required to view and confirm your My Vaccine Pass, or exemption pass on arrival with your identification. If you are unable to provide either, you will be unable to stay and will be entitled to a refund.

COVID-19 Cancellation Policy

In most cases bookings can be cancelled 48 hours prior to arrival without incurring any charge. Bookings cancelled within this period are subject to a charge for the first night's accommodation. This is at the discretion of management.

Further exceptions will be made for any bookings that are impacted by localised/regional traffic light RED, due to COVID-19 travel restrictions however, proof must be provided of this.

Housekeeping

We maintain a high standard of cleaning and preventative measures to ensure guests enjoy their stay. We reiterate our COVID-19 safe behaviours to our guests on arrival/check-in, and during housekeeping where we have introduced a frequent cleaning schedule in public areas and sanitising touch point areas. Our Housekeeping team have been trained to adhere to COVID-19 safety measures, including wearing face coverings, gloves and with key duties performed adequately.

Enjoy your stay

We look forward to welcoming you to Pinewood Lodge, Queenstown.
